WARNING: Reading this article may give away things in the stories ranging from unimportant to plot turners.

Type: Detective, Mystery

Basic Game Setup and Plot: You are the assistant of a detective and have to help him find out who murdered a person by examining the corpse and scene. There also appears to be a plot that goes with the game play.

Note: I only played the first two mysteries of the game, as the rest cost money and I am too cheap to pay money for an app, even if it really good. Therefore if the game has different content and quality than what you read here later in the game, I apologize.

Game Play and Plot 4½/5 Very Well Done: This game was both unique and fun. Most mystery games are merely 2-D search and find games. This game is completely different. It is a 3-D game that focuses on your ability to examine a scene and corpse and be able to deduct who killed the person and have proof they did it. I found this much more fun than the simple search and find mystery games, as it felt more realistic and that there was more effort put into it.

There are signs of there being a plot, but because I did not the play too far I am not sure how good it is or what it entails.

Graphics: 4/5 Well Done: For an app these were pretty good graphics. There were 3-D graphics for crime investigation and 2-D graphics for when you talked with other people. The drawings are done in a style much like what you would see in a Nintendo game and are in good quality.

Music and Sound Effects: 3½ Above Average: The music was typical detective TV show music in a jazzy style. The sound effects were also done well.

Overall: 4/5 Well Done: I highly recommend this game quality wise. It was a lot more fun than the average mystery game. Either gender should find the game fun and I think preteens and younger teenagers would find it most entertaining.

Moral Content

Official Rating: T

Sexual and Inappropriate Content: ½/5 Slightly Suggestive: There is a low dress on a lady. A girl calls a woman a “bimbo.”

Violence: ½/5 Slightly Suggested: Violence is not actually shown, but is mentioned as the cases are murder ones.

Swearing and Using the Lord’s Name in Vain: 1/5 One of Two Light Utterances: God’s name is taken in vain twice in French.

Emotional, Intense, and Disturbing Content: 1½/5 Some Slightly Disturbing Content and Blood: There is blood on some scenes from the murders. The cases revolve around murder and why and how they killed the person. Nothing rally gory or really disturbing was shown, but there are corpses on the scene and while everything is being reveled and explained it does show pictures of the events happening in a mostly non-disturbing way. In the beginning of the game someone mentions a person killing them.

Religious Issues: 0/5 None

Other: A woman says her she bought her new boyfriend a collar and she seems to treat him like a dog. He also acts like one in some ways. This could be done for humor purposes or suggestive ones.

Overall: 2/5 Child Appropriate: As far as I played, all of the content was merely suggestive except for the blood on scene. Unlike other mystery and detective games I have played, this one did not give me a weird or uncomfortable feeling as I played it. I recommend this game to children content wise nine or ten and older.
