A Parent’s Guide to PJ Mask: Moonlight Heroes (App)

PJ Mask: Moonlight Heroes

Type: Adventure, Children’s

Basic Idea: The three PJ Heroes from PJ Masks are in their own personal adventure game.

Quality

Game Play: 3½/5 The game consist of three levels, one for each PJ hero, that include jumping, climbing, and flying. One must collect the ML as they avoid obstacles, trying to gain three stars. Surprisingly, being simple kid’s game, it is still challenging and addictive.

Graphics: 3/5 Average: The graphics are ones that would be commonly associated with the average children’s cartoon.

Music: 3/5 Average: The game has cute spy music that has a nostalgia feeling of old 2000’s and 90’s cartoon music.

Overall: 3/5 Average: While skill is needed to play and it can be addicting for any age (even adults), the game is short and juvenile, making it more of a kid’s game than anything. I would recommend it for young children, especially if they are into the PJ Masks series.

Moral Content

Sexual and Inappropriate Content: 0/5 None

Violence: ½/5 Brief, Light Violence: The characters can run into things and fall off buildings, but the portrayal is not violent or scary at all.

Swearing and Using the Lord’s Name in Vain: 0/5 None

Emotional, Intense, and Disturbing Content: 0/5 None

Religious Issues: 0/5 None

Magic: 0/5 None

Others: 0/5 None

Overall: ½/5 All Ages Appropriate: Despite the non graphic attacks, I believe any child capable of playing an app will find this game appropriate.
