A Parent’s Guide to Happy Glass (App/Game)

Happy Glass by Lion Studios

Type: Puzzle

Basic Idea: The player must draw lines to pour water into a cup.

Game Play: 3/5 Average: Game play includes drawing lines and trying to pour water into a glass cup. It’s a simple concept, but there are hundred of levels to try to learn the different ways a person can scientifically pout water into a cup. Later, more challenges are added, such as pouring water into two cups or having the cup over open air.

Graphics: 3½/5 Well Done: Graphics are clear and cute, but on the plain side. What is done, though, is neat and easy on the eyes.

Music: 3½/5 Average: The game has pretty, happy piano music played in the background that fits the cheerful mood of the game.

Overall: 3½/5 Above Average: I would recommend this game for people looking for physics style puzzle games, or just people looking for a relaxing puzzle game in general. I think anyone old enough to understand it could enjoy it, but some may find it too boring or sit-downy for their taste.
